About

Hello! I’m Elizabeth Peltier, a Medical Content Specialist and Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Technical Communication.

I have 12 years of experience in bedside nursing. I’ve worked in various settings, including Pre-Op, PACU, and Vascular Surgery, but my primary focus has been in Emergency Medicine.

I have always had a soft spot for research and writing, which is a big reason why I chose to change careers and try my hand at medical communication. As a subject matter expert (SME), I can interpret complex medical and scientific data for the layperson and synthesize research for an expert audience.

Patient education and advocacy have always been at the forefront of my career, and I plan to continue my work with these causes as a medical communicator. Regardless of the setting, I am passionate about learning new ideas and concepts and take great pride in being efficient, compassionate, and a great team player.

Outside of work, I love to travel, attend concerts, and work with crafts like knitting and crocheting. I currently live near Nashville, Tennessee, but being a native Wisconsinite, I love cheering on the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Bucks (Bucks in six!).

My favorite pastime, however, is spending time with my family, which consists of my spouse, three dogs, and two cats.
